At the outset, we would like to acknowledge and thank you for the tremendous response we received for our recent request re: Diwali Seva opportunity – an opportunity to donate at least 250 large snack bags to a homeless shelter in downtown Dallas, called Austin Street Center (www.austinstreet.org), in the true spirit of giving back to the community during the upcoming Diwali festival.

Speaking of Diwali, please mark your calendar for Saturday Nov. 14, when we’ll have a Laxmi Pooja at Chinmaya Saaket. We cordially invite you to join this pooja virtually. Like we did during the recent Navaratri celebrations, we invite you to join virtually and details on timing, how to join etc. will be provided in the next few days.

We are soliciting a few [virtual]pooja yajamans (@$251 per yajaman family), on a first come, first served basis. If interested, please send in your request by reply e-mail.
