Guru Paduka Puja
to mark Pujya Gurudev’s 108th Jayanti
What? Guru Paduka Puja, to feel the presence of Pujya Gurudev
Worship of the Padukas represents humility. When we touch the feet of elders or the Guru, or when we worship the Padukas, we bow down the highest part of our body (head) towards the lowest part (feet). The head is the ego and so by worshipping the Padukas we surrender.
Perform Guru Paaduka Puja at your home and be inspired by & feel the presence of Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayananda in your home. You may invite your friends, especially non-Chinmaya members, to the puja and enjoy the divine atmosphere of Pujya Gurudev coming to your home and blessing you, your family and friends.
