Join us for Lalita Sahasranama chanting each evening of Navaratri, October 11–19, 7:30–8:30 PM at Chinmaya Saaket. On Saturday, October 17, the chanting will be at Chinmaya Chitrakoot at 4:00 PM.
Feel free to bring your offering of flowers, fruits or naivedya to the chanting.
The Lalita Sahasranama Stotra is a sacred hymn/stuti from the Brahmanda Purana containing the 1,000 names of Goddess Lalita (Tripura Sundari), portraying her as the ultimate, supreme manifestation of cosmic feminine energy (Shakti).
Chanting it during the nine nights of Sharannavaratri invokes her divine protection, spiritual grace, and our inner transformation at a time when cosmic energy is believed to be most accessible. Devotees recite these names to align themselves with her nurturing strength, dissolve past karma, and celebrate the ultimate victory of divine consciousness over inner ignorance.
