Chinmaya Mission DFW

Chinmaya Panchavati

Chinmaya Panchavati is our most ambitious undertaking yet — a future ashram in Prosper that will serve the fast-growing Chinmaya Mission family across northern Dallas–Fort Worth. Born from the sankalpa of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda and rising through the seva of our community, Panchavati will serve a growing Hindu community and hundreds of Bala Vihar children for generations to come.

The Vision

With Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s grace and Pujya Guruji’s sankalpa, CMDFW acquired a 5.1-acre parcel in Prosper, northeast of the intersection of US‑380 and the Dallas North Tollway. The site is envisioned to serve the spiritual needs of the growing community and the hundreds of Bala Vihar children in the area — becoming our third ashram in the Metroplex, alongside Chinmaya Saaket and Chinmaya Chitrakoot.

Who It Will Serve

Panchavati will serve the northern-most suburbs of the Metroplex — Aubrey, Celina, Frisco, Little Elm, McKinney, and Prosper — families who today travel to our other centers. Panchavati sits about 25 minutes north of Chinmaya Saaket and 45 minutes north of Chinmaya Chitrakoot.

Project Status

Chinmaya Panchavati is currently under development, and we’ll share construction milestones here as the ashram takes shape. Godwin Parkway, the access road serving the site, is expected to be completed in 2026. Construction of the ashram will begin around that time, and we expect it to take one and a half to two years.

How You Can Help

Chinmaya Panchavati will come to life through the seva and generosity of our community. There are two main ways to be part of it:

Serve on a committee. Bring your expertise to one of our Panchavati committees — Architecture & Design, Community Engagement & Fundraising, or Engineering & Construction.

Support financially. Every contribution brings the ashram closer to reality.
