The Lalita Sahasranama Stotra is a sacred hymn/stuti from the Brahmanda Purana containing the 1,000 names of Goddess Lalita (Tripura Sundari), portraying her as the ultimate, supreme manifestation of cosmic feminine energy (Shakti).
Chanting it during the nine nights of Sharannavaratri invokes her divine protection, spiritual grace, and our inner transformation at a time when cosmic energy is believed to be most accessible. Devotees recite these names to align themselves with her nurturing strength, dissolve past karma, and celebrate the ultimate victory of divine consciousness over inner ignorance.
Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, marks the triumphant tenth day concluding Navaratri, celebrating the victory of good over evil as Goddess Durga vanquishes the demon Mahishasura and Lord Rama defeats Ravana. It serves as an auspicious day symbolizing new beginnings, the renewal of righteous purpose, and the ultimate triumph of dharma/guiding light over adharma/darkness.
