Almost 300 people from 85+ families participated in CMDFW’s 9th annual Diwali SEVA: preparing large healthy snack bags for a homeless shelter in Dallas! Observing COVID-19 safety precautions, members prepared the bags at home and included a special Diwali message from CMDFW. A total of 2,000 snack bags, 8X our original goal was collected for @AustinStreetCenter (www.austinstreet.org)! It is the largest snack bag donation that the shelter has ever received!
