CORD USA – Service Trip

Who: CHYKs (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra members) ages 18-35 years

All of our service projects have had dramatic impact on the participants. We are especially delighted to have Swami Sharanananda, who hails from Odisha, accompanying our CHYKs in this year’s service visit.

This is a wonderful practical exercise to complement all the years of Balavihar/CHYK learning.

Our service projects are highly participatory in nature. They are expected to be involved in all levels of planning and execution. Please download FAQ & ROL (Release of Liability) from http://www.cordusa.org/…/news/ServiceVisits/CORDUSA-CHYK.zip before applying so that you read, understand and agree with the expectations.

Please do NOT reserve tickets until you get the confirmation from our CHYK coordinator or Acharya.

Every field below must be filled in full before submittal. Please fill and sign ”Release of Liability”(ROL), scan it to a PDF format and email to chykwest@cordusa.org. Only PDF format is accepted.

Please mail a check for $600.00, payable to CORD USA to reach “CORD USA, 2569 Wagon Train Lane Avenue, Diamond Bar, CA 91765” within five days of registration. Write “CHYK Service Visit” in the memo field. Registration is not complete until the online form is submitted, duly signed ROL is sent and check reaches CORD USA. Your check will be returned if you are not chosen for the visit. $600 will cover only your boarding and lodging at CORD Lathikata – not the travel expenses to get to Odisha.
