WHEN: 9am – 1pm on:
- September 24th at Chinmaya Saaket (17701 Davenport Rd, Dallas, TX 75752)
- October 1st at Chinmaya Frisco (12615 Jereme Trail, Frisco, TX 75035)
- October 8th at Chinmaya Chitrakoot (900 N Belt Line Rd, Irving, TX 75061)
WHERE: The Carter BloodCare Bus will be at all 3 of our Chinmaya Mission Facilities on the dates/times listed.
WHAT: We are partnering with Carter BloodCare, a non-profit who is the primary blood supplier to more than 200 medical facilities and services 50-plus counties in north, central & east Texas. Since their focus is local, they ask the local community for donations to maintain a safe and sufficient blood supply.
WHY: Only about 37 percent of the population at any given time is eligible to give blood, but less than 4 percent of blood donors, in the Carter BloodCare service area, give blood. With the aging population, the younger population needs to step up and become blood donors.
We want to give our members at all facilities, especially the youth, a chance to give back to the local community!
WHO: Chinmaya Mission members and their friends/family who are eligible to donate. You may donate at any location, no matter where you attend:
Basic Eligibility to donate:

- At least 16 years old and in good general health. Sixteen-year-olds must have written parental consent.
- If you have traveled to India in the past THREE months, you are NOT eligible to donate!!
