Study Groups
Our resident acharyas lead weekly study for adults across the Metroplex — in person at our centers, in members’ homes, and online. Sessions are interactive and workshop-style: discussion rather than lecture. Whether you are new to Vedanta or have been studying for years, there is a group with room for you.
Study Group
Open to all. The text is Self Unfoldment, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s step-by-step introduction to Vedanta — a clear, logical unfolding of the tradition’s thought, written so that a modern reader can follow it from first principles to the highest truths.
Devi Group
For women. The text is Art of Man Making, Gurudev’s collected radio talks on the Bhagavad Gita. Delivered in the 1960s to a generation of young Indians drifting without direction, the talks gave ancient wisdom a contemporary, practical shape — and six decades on they read as freshly as ever.

CHYK — for young adults
CHYK, the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, is Chinmaya Mission’s wing for young adults. CMDFW currently runs three CHYK study groups:
- Monday, online — led by Br. Hari Chaitanya
- Saturday, in person — led by Brahmacharini Sanjana Chaitanya
- UT Dallas campus — a new group meeting on campus
