Chinmaya Panchavati in Prosper, TX
Hari OM!
With Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji’s grace, Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda’s sankalpa, and Mukhya Swami Swaroopanandaji’s blessings, we’re pleased to announce that CMDFW purchased a 5.1 acre parcel northeast of the intersection of US380 and the Dallas North Tollway. The property is located approximately .25 miles east of Dallas North Tollway, 1 mile west of Preston Road and .25 miles north of US380. The property is envisioned to be a campus that will serve the spiritual needs of the growing HIndu community and hundreds of Bala Vihar Children in the vicinity. Pujya Guruji’s sankalpa of Chinmaya Panchavati has now become a reality.
With this acquisition, Chinmaya Mission D/FW will have 3 ashram in the Metroplex – Chinmaya Saaket serving communities primarily located South of Sam Rayburn Tollway / US Hwy 121 and east of I-35 including the Cities of Dallas, Addison, Richardson, Murphy, Plano, Carrollton, Colony, Allen, etc., Chinmaya Chitrakoot serving communicated located in the northwestern suburbs of Dallas including Irving, Carrollton / Farmer’s Branch, Coppell, Flower Mound, South Lake, West Lake, etc. and Chinmaya Panchavati which is envisioned to serve the northern-most suburbs including Aubrey, Celina, Frisco, Little Elm, McKinney, Prosper, etc. The new Panchavati campus will be located 25 minutes north of our Chinmaya Saaket center and 45 minutes north of our Chinmaya Chitrakoot facility.
Project Status: The access road which will be used to access the Chinmaya Panchavati campus – which will be called “Godwin Parkway”- has just broken ground and is expected to be completed by late summer of 2025. Around that time or shortly thereafter, Chinmaya Mission D/FW will begin construction of the campus. We expect that it will take 1.5 years – 2 years for construction to be completed.
During his keynote address at the Annual Banquet, Pujya Swami Sarveshanandaji, spoke on “Strength in Togetherness“ and highlighted the need for all of us to come together in realizing the grand vision of Pujya Gurudev. Further this campus will enable Chinmaya Mission D/FW to continue to bring maximum happiness to the maximum number for the maximum amount of time.
