Registration Open for BV 2025 – 2026: 

As we celebrate the graduating class of 2025 across CMDFW, BV registration for 2025-’26 for the current membership (Phase-1) is NOW OPEN. Details have already been sent to your email inbox.

[Reminder] Texas State High School Retreat:

  • For 9-12 graders from Thursday, April 17 – Sunday, April 20 at Chinmaya Mangalam

Annual Gita Chanting Competition:

Children’s competition: April 26th, Chitrakoot @ 9:30 AM
Adults’ competition: April 25th, Saaket @ 7 PM

This year, in addition to the chanting competition on April 26th, we will also have Learn Gita (Gita vocabulary Quiz for gr. 1-12) and Yuva Talks (3-5 minutes on selected topic from Ch. 5, for Gr. 10-12).

Sandwich Seva:

Who: Bala Vihar children, grades 8th – 12th 

What: We will be making PBJ sandwiches to help our local homeless community. All supplies will be provided. ***Please do not participate if you have a nut allergy***

WhenSaturday, April 26, 2025 from 9.30 am to 11.00 am (2 hours for volunteering)

Where: Chinmaya Saaket Kitchen (17701 Davenport Rd, Dallas, TX 75252)

Important to Note: If you sign up and do not show up, then you’ll probably lose your opportunity to volunteer next time. So, if your plans change, as a courtesy, please let the seva team know so they can pass on the opportunity to the next person on the waitlist.

Hanuman Chalisathon 2025:

On May 3rd, we will celebrate Hanuman Jayanti with a full day of chanting Hanuman Chalisa at Chinmaya-Saaket (see the flyer below for details). Students, teachers, and parents are encouraged to form groups and chant the Hanuman Chalisa in 30-minute slots. We have over 15 different tunes to choose from!!  This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP). For any questions, please contact Br. Hari-ji or Brni. Sanjana-ji.
