CMDFW Annual Banquet:
With your support, encouragement, and participation, this year’s banquet was a great success – donations and pledges totaled ~$750,000. Your continued support will enable the mission to provide the timeless wisdom of our Guru Parampara to our seekers, young and old alike. We thank you and all volunteers from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
Year-End Donations:
Take a look at the pledge cards (w/ suggested donation categories we presented at the annual banquet). Even if you did not attend the banquet, you can still make your year-end, tax-deductible donation to CMDFW. There are multiple ways for Chinmaya families to donate:

T-shirt Design Contest for Walkathon 2026:
Thank you all who submitted an entry for the Walkathon T-shirt design contest. Both Hari ji and Sanjana ji are going through the entries and we will announce the winner after we return from our winter break. Once the winning design is announced, we will also open up pre-orders for the T-shirts. More details on this will be provided in early January when we resume Bala Vihar.
Gītā Pañcamṛta:
A couple of weeks ago, we launched Gītā Pañcamṛta – a distilled essence of timeless teachings presented in five uplifting verses of wisdom, reflection, and practice.
- Gītā Pañcamṛta is a key initiative of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide and an important part of the upcoming Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, 2026.
- As we head into the New Year, let’s all pledge to “learn, live, and lead” through these 5 Gita verses
Food Drive – Sewa Diwali:
We are proud to share that through our Diwali Seva initiative; we collected nearly 5,000 pounds of food and $1,000 in cash this year. This seva was made possible by the dedication and teamwork of our 8th-grade students and their teachers, who worked diligently to coordinate and manage donations across all three centers. Our heartfelt thanks to each one of them.
A portion of the collected food was offered to the Celina Fire Station as a gesture of gratitude for their service to the community. The remaining donations have been contributed to the Hindu Pantry Initiative launched by Sewa International, which supports individuals and families in need across the DFW area. This initiative welcomes anyone seeking assistance—no questions asked, regardless of background or faith.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this noble cause and helped spread the spirit of Diwali through selfless service.
