Let’s fill our homes with the vibrations of the Gita. Parents, please encourage your children to participate in this historic 75th-year celebration. More details coming soon! 🚩

Multiple Seva Projects Performed Last Weekend – Thank you!

      • Our study group, Devis, prepared over 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Austin Street Center. In addition to collecting funds for the sandwiches, they also donated 1,000 snack packs. These efforts provided much-needed support to the center during the recent inclement weather
      • Bala Vihar children lovingly prepared 1,000 Shivalingams for the upcoming Shivaratri celebration. With great care and devotion, they washed each Shivalingam and applied tilak, working diligently as an offering of seva and faith.
      • Also at Saaket only: [Smiles, teamwork, and big hearts!] Our elementary kids happily made 150 snack bags for people experiencing homelessness, learning the joy of seva while working together.

[8th-grader volunteer to announce]  Walkathon/Picnic t-shirts and Event Registration:

      • Hari Om! Here’s a question for you all:
        • Who here has ordered their Walkathon/Picnic t-shirt already?
        • If you haven’t, don’t worry, you still have ONE whole week left!
      • These t-shirts aren’t just cool to wear, they also help us do something amazing. Every t-shirt we sell helps provide scholarships for students from the Bhutanese and Nepalese refugee communities. So when you buy one, you’re not just getting a shirt, you’re helping another student succeed.
      • Another question: How many in the room remember what the winning design looks like?
        • This year’s winning design was created by one of our Bala Vihar student in F2 session! The more t-shirts we pre-order, the more excited other students will be to join the design competition next year. So let’s show them some love and motivation.
      • Right now, t-shirts are only $10, but that price lasts only until February 15th (next Sunday). After that, they go up to $15/t-shirt, so raise your hand if you like saving money! Make sure you order early so you get the size you want.
      • And, mark your calendars for our big Walkathon/Picnic on April 25th at Chinmaya Mangalam!
        • Registration is $15 per person and FREE for Chinmaya Parivar family members.
        • You can do everything, t-shirt pre-orders AND walkathon registration at https://cmdfw.org/.

      Thank you, Hari Om!
