Here are the BV Assembly announcements for this week.
** C3 only — No BV session next Saturday, Mar 28th … due to HCH event at Mangalam **
#1 Ramayana Parayana and Ramanavami (March 19 – 26) at Chinmaya-Saaket:
- Please join us for the ongoing Rāmāyana pārāyana, culminating in Shri Rāmanavami on Thursday, March 26th.
- Timing:
- Daily chanting (now thru 3/25): 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. followed by aarati.
- Shri Rāmanavami (Thursday, March 26): Pooja / Sita – Rāma Kalyana – 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by aarati and mahāprasād
- Sita-Rama Kalyana yajaman and mahāprasād sponsorships are available. Register at events.cmdfw.org
#2 Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, 2026 – CMDFW Events

#4 [Update] Picnic/Walkathon at Mangalam – April 25, 2026:
- Pre-ordered t-shirts are now in and can be picked up at the front desk.
- If you didn’t order during pre-orders, don’t worry … you can still purchase the special “CM-75th” t-shirts for $15 each.
- The walkathon/picnic event is just around the corner (April 25th, at Chinmaya Mangalam). Please register if you haven’t done so, as we need to get an accurate count so that we can plan accordingly. Registration for the walkathon/picnic is $15/person and can be done at http://cmdfw.org
- Based on last year’s popularity of the games, we are excited to continue to have team competition during the game events again this year during the walkathon/picnic. The games are open to both children and adults who have registered for the event. So if you want to have fun, don’t forget to register as an individual or as a team at http://cmdfw.org.
#5 [Reminder] Summer CORD Trip:
- The chaperone application for the Summer CORD Trip is now open. Adults aged 25+ who are interested in serving as chaperones are encouraged to apply soon. The student application will open after the chaperone applications close.
- An informational Zoom call for interested chaperones and students will be held on Monday, March 23 at 8:00 PM.
