Our Annual Labor Day retreat, now referred to as Chinmaya Balavihar Retreat, which usually occurs on Labor Day weekend will be held in August at Chinmaya Mangalam earlier this year due to scheduling conflicts. The children will leave from Saaket and Chitrakoot by bus on Thursday, Aug 8th at 2:00 PM and will return at the same location on Sunday, August 11th at 2:00 PM. Please plan accordingly.
The spectacular grounds and skies of Chinmaya Mangalam beckon curious young minds to this highlight of the CMDFW calendar. Children partake in structured instruction, creative activities, sports and bonding during the 3-day camp led by ChYKs and Yuva Veers under the guidance of Sw. Sarveshananda ji.
Registration is open to all enrolled Balavihar students entering 5th through 12th grade this fall. The contribution for the camp will be $225 per child, which includes boarding, lodging, transportation and supplies. Capacity is limited, so please register your child at the earliest.
Mandatory parent meeting will be held on August 6th at Chinmaya Saaket at 7:30 PM
